I assume you can hear us now
Evan Rainey
41:27
Yes indeed.
Cook, Scott
41:36
Thank you everyone
Evan Rainey
46:25
So any contribtutions UNDER 125 go to C5’s as normal even if it is after October 15th?
Cook, Scott
46:56
yes
Evan Rainey
47:25
👍
Joe McKenney
48:56
Do contributions of $125 or larger also have to go on the C5?
Giuseppe
49:43
So... As a practical example... Say I received a $150 contribution on 10/16. I could wait until 10/17 to see if I receive more and then file the C7, or I can just file it straight away and if I receive more, I can keep filing more and more. I guess they are like single record lines of a C5 submitted withotu waiting for the 15th of every month.
Cook, Scott
49:50
Joe, they will automatically be incorporated into your C5
Giuseppe
50:51
Thank you Sir
Paige
51:17
Do I have to file a C-7 eveey 48 hrs even if not contributions?
Evan Rainey
51:17
Right. So as Giuseppe says, there is a MAXIMUM of 48 hours per C7 but you can also just file one every 24 hours if you want to? That’s the question and answer essentiallly?
Evan Rainey
51:43
Yes. Cool.
Cook, Scott
51:46
yes
Evan Rainey
53:11
And a check on Paige’s question too: If there are no contributions over 125, we don’t have to file anything, right?
Paige
53:48
what if I do not get contributions over $125, so nothing to put in report. do I file a report every 48hrs even if nothing to report?
Paige
53:55
Thank you, Evan.
Cook, Scott
54:42
paige, c7 for only contributions over 125, all others can be reportrd in your c5
Alan Ault
57:35
what is the difference with c7 and c7e?
Giuseppe
58:54
Oh... So, if a person who has already donated $180 donates $50 more dollars now, will it trigger the requirement for a C7??? (I guess not?)
Evan Rainey
58:55
Thank you for that clarification.
Giuseppe
01:00:34
Just dreaming big.... Mine is a tiny campaign!!! :D
Evan Rainey
01:02:09
Will we be covering questions regarding the new campaign contribution limits?
Cook, Scott
01:02:25
I can, chat away
Evan Rainey
01:03:39
So I received 250 in contributions from somebody. I sent them a check refunding 70, because they went over the limit of 180 for the municipal election. Let’s say now they contribute another 300 dollars. That brings them now to 400. So now I sent another check back for 80?
Evan Rainey
01:03:51
Brings them to 480*
Cook, Scott
01:04:57
I'll anser the limits question after the c7e presentaion
Evan Rainey
01:05:03
Cool.
Giuseppe
01:07:30
Thank you Sirs!Great service.Talk to your later!!!
Evan Rainey
01:08:51
Yes, you are right, the initial 250 was before October 1st, and the contributions of 300 etc would be after 1st. Thank you. That did help.
Paige
01:10:24
Good information, thank you gentlemen
